1.Agreement
By creating an account or using EdgefulFinder (edgefulfinder.com) you agree to these terms. The service is operated by Jocel Tolentino, an individual based in the Philippines. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a contract.
2.What this service is — and what it is not
EdgefulFinder is an information and analytics service. It is not financial, investment, legal or tax advice, and it is not a broker or a trading system.
Specifically, we do not and cannot:
- Execute trades, place orders, or connect to a broker or prop firm on your behalf
- Hold, receive or transmit your funds — subscription payments go directly to our payment processor
- Manage money, act as an agent, or exercise discretion over any account of yours
- Guarantee any outcome, return or result
Every statistic on the platform describes what has happened in the past. Probability is not prediction, and a historical fill rate is not a promise about tomorrow. Trading involves a real risk of losing money, including more than you deposited with a leveraged counterparty. Any decision you make is yours, and the consequences are yours.
3.Backtesting results
The Strategy Lab reports how a rule would have performed on historical data. Those results are produced by a simulation and carry limitations we state openly:
- Entries are filled at the next bar’s open, and when one bar spans both the stop and the target we assume the stop — so results are understated rather than flattered
- Commission and slippage are modelled at fixed rates. Your real costs may differ
- Intraday setups are excluded from backtesting because the available history is too short to be honest about
- Optimised parameters are selected on past data. Past performance does not indicate future results, and an optimised rule frequently does not survive contact with new data
A backtest that looks profitable is not a recommendation to trade it. Where a rule underperforms simply buying and holding the asset, we show you that too.
4.Your account
Keep your password to yourself and give us accurate information. You are responsible for activity under your account. One person per account — do not share credentials or resell access.
We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, attempts to disrupt the service, or attempts to access data beyond its plan. Where practical we will tell you why.
5.Acceptable use
Do not:
- Scrape, crawl or bulk-extract the platform beyond the access your plan grants
- Share API credentials, or resell API access to third parties
- Attempt to circumvent plan limits or access controls
- Reverse-engineer, disrupt, overload, or probe the service for vulnerabilities without permission
- Use the service to break any law, or to present our output as personalised investment advice to others
Automated access is permitted only through the API endpoints your plan includes, within your plan\u2019s limits.
6.Plans, billing and cancellation

| Price changes | We will give notice before a price change affects you. It applies from your next renewal, never retroactively |
| Refunds | If a payment was taken in error, or a duplicate charge occurred, contact us and we will refund it. Beyond that, subscription fees are not refundable for partial periods — but if the service was materially unavailable or materially broken during a period you paid for, tell us and we will make it right, up to a full refund of that period |
All prices are in the currency shown at checkout. Philippine customers may pay by card, GCash, Maya or QR Ph. Payments are processed by PayMongo; we do not store your payment credentials.
7.Availability and changes to the service
We aim to keep the platform available but do not promise uninterrupted service. Features may be added, changed or withdrawn. Data comes from third-party sources and may occasionally be delayed, incomplete or wrong — we show sample sizes and data timestamps so you can judge this yourself.
We may change these terms. Material changes will be announced on the site or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the change.
8.Intellectual property
The platform, its interface, engines and written content belong to the operator. Your account data and your saved preferences belong to you. Third-party source data remains the property of its providers and is used under their terms.
9.Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Philippine law, EdgefulFinder is provided "as is", and the operator is not liable for trading losses, lost profits, or indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the service.
Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the subscription period giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have that cannot be waived under Philippine law, including rights under the Data Privacy Act.
10.Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Disputes are subject to the courts of the Philippines, without prejudice to your right to complain to the National Privacy Commission on privacy matters.
